A Fair Trade – Day 3

by on March 24, 2010

Well the day began with more leafleting at various places. It’s amazing just how many people line up for buses into the city. None the less there we were handing out a leaflet about the church and what’s happening this week. After that we began to settled into some ministry tips from the ministers at Naremburn/Cammeray. While the guys were in that the girls joined the womens bible study groups that met in all the different rooms. Then a few went to a local shopping centre with some handouts, gospels and friendly smiles. Also there was an Anglicare basket for food. A lot of the times people on the way to do their shopping would by that little bit extra to put in the food basket. After this another great lunch put on by the ladies of the church. Great servants! Then we really began to do the final prep for the Prayer night. It was a night put on by the team for the church. It was to encourage them to pray about lots of things and lots of times. After all last minute technology stresses we were ready to go at 7:24pm with 6mins to spare! I was giving hi-5’s, jumping around and even did a victory dance. (a sight to see) The night was filled with songs of praise to our Lord, times of reflective confession, a video footage of the crucifixion while singing How Deep The Father’s Love. Then small group prayer giving thanks for many things. Following was a time of prayer for local community, Sydney & global. A great night was had by all will great feedback of the people of Naremburn/Cammeray being encouraged. A great night indeed. Now a much needed day of rest before the final stretech of great proclamation of the glory of our Lord!
