Crutching Sheep in Wee Waa

by on March 25, 2010

After yesteday’s team day off (Jet boating on the lake and fresh yabbies for dinner) it was back to work today.

To get a taste of country life, we headed out to several farms to spend some time on the land. Groups of us jumped in the ute with various farmers and spent the day learning what life was like on the farm. Some of these farmers aren’t church members, so it was great to build relationships with these people, as well as have conversations about Jesus.

Some team members even had a go at “crutching” sheep. It was an intimate experience.

Please pray for the relationships between Wee Waa Anglican and the local farmers.

Guys…I think that it is actually “crutching” not “crotching”…sorry…*big grin*

    • I’ll double check with the team. That’s how I was told to spell it. Maybe the farmers were having a playful go at us? :)
