Candlelit Noodles and love to the mission and York St crews

by on March 28, 2010

We’ve finally come to the end of mission week. The York St mission has been a really great experience, not only have we been able to share the gospel to many people in city and help out the church and City Bible Forum in many practical ways, we have also learnt a lot from Justin Moffatt, Ian Powell, Peter Kaldor, Barry Allan and Geoff Hilder. Not only were we mobilised for mission we also spent time praying and pleading with God for his grace and mercy to be poured out abundantly in Sydney, devoting time to reading God’s word and think through ministry. Thank you Justin for time and energy in preparing the bible studies, discussions on the Redeemer Church Planting Manual, and in many ways serving us and equipping us for ministry in the long run.

We ended mission on a fantastic note! The mission team cooked a Chinese theme dinner for the evening service congregation. We had dim sims and noodles over candle light with city lights in the backdrop. Beautiful!

  • Justin, please keep us updated on how the church progresses this year. The mission team is keen to be involved in pray for York St and be informed with how God works at York St this year.
  • Mission team, love you guys! Love getting to know you all, you guys have made my 1st Moore mission a great experience.
  • York St crew, you kool kats rock! Totally excited to see what God will do through guys in changing our city for God’s glory.
  • Praise God for the people who have heard the gospel through street evangelism and bringing new people into the York St community this week.
  • Please pray for the ongoing mission of York St, particularly the upcoming Easter services.

For Jesus Fame!
