Home time

by on March 28, 2010

Well I don’t know about the rest of the team but I have just made it home and seriously looking forward to sleeping in my own bed!

A massive thank you from the team to the people of St Barnabas Ingleburn who have been amazing to us this week. They have shared their homes, food and their lives with us in a big way and it has been an amazing pleasure to partner with them in the gospel.

And for the perfect end to the week I gave a lift to a young woman tonight who walked into church for the first time in a few years last week, came to ladies Bible study on Tuesday, night church tonight and was blown away by the love of Jesus shown in the parable of the lost son. Tonight she proclaims Jesus as her Lord and Saviour! Praise God!

Thanks for having us Ingleburn!

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:3-6, 9-11
