what kind of dog is that?

by on March 28, 2011

Kids and dogs are essential for evangelism! Well maybe not essential but they definitely provide a way in. Some people had success in the park this morning, other of us found it really difficult to strike up conversations with people. It was hard to approach people with whom we had no ‘mutual love objects’ in common. Tomorrow my group is going to borrow a dog and take a frisbee which we hope will help us initially speak to people. Please pray for boldness to approach people and that God would direct us to the people that He would like us to talk to.

We are delivering about 10,000 invitations for the Jazz night to letterboxes over the next few days. Please pray that they may pass under the recipients eyes before hitting the recycling bin and that God will bring people along.

Tomorrow afternoon we will be teaching the Scripture classes normally taught by Moore College Students. Thank God for the privilege of being able to teach about Jesus in schools. Pray that we’d clearly model the love of Christ to the kids and help them to remember that Jesus died and rose again so that they can be friends with God.
