More to Life: North Epping Day 6

by on April 1, 2011

Last night the BBQ ruled. More than 100 guys showed up at All Saints to participate in a cook-off of mammoth proportions. John Alexander (Federal Member for Bennelong) helped judge the event. We had the good, the bad and the ugly.  The real winner for the night was the gospel of Jesus Christ, which Senior Minister Roger Green preached. Pray that hearts would be opened and lives would be changed.

Yesterday afternoon some of the team had afternoon tea with a local seniors group. Sam and John gave their testimonies. The advice from a long-time minister who spoke at the event: “Trust in the Lord, when you make mistakes, know He forgives you.”

Pray that the Word we have planted would spread and grow. Pray for some team members who have been a little bit sick the last few days. Pray that we’d finish the mission strongly.

  1. The BBQ Cook Off was a truly wonderful evening.

Scott & Ben were great co-judges and the cooked results were simply delicious.

Thanks to All Saints and the Mission for the opportunity to participate.
